Are you tired of overthinking your problems, repeatedly going over the same old ground in the same old way?

Do you feel stuck in a rut?

Do you know what you NEED to do but find it impossible to make those necessary changes?

Walking therapy can get things moving, both literally and metaphorically. We all know the benefits of exercise and spending time in the natural environment. Just exercising outside generates endorphins which help improve mental well-being and also contributes to a good night’s sleep.

Imagine how powerful this can be when combined with the opportunity to talk things  through with a qualified, solution-focused therapist. People often find it easier to discuss difficult issues whilst walking side-by-side rather than in the confines of a therapy room.

Walking therapy is especially effective for treating anxiety, depression and work-related stress. It offers a multi-sensory experience in the beautiful Lancashire countryside which is ideal for practising mindfulness techniques.

What about confidentiality?
We will have an initial consultation at my therapy room where issues of confidentiality can be discussed.

What about the weather?
Just like life, the weather is unpredictable but experiencing whatever is thrown at us is part of the therapy.

Where will we go?
There are many beautiful walks in the local area suited to clients of all levels of fitness. We can decide on a ‘good fit’ together.

How long are the sessions?
The duration of each session is more flexible than an indoor therapy session but will usually last between an hour and 90 minutes.

How much does walking therapy cost?
As with my home-based hypnotherapy sessions, the initial consultation costs £35 and walking therapy sessions cost £50 each. There may be special deals at different times of year.
